Või siis tõlkimata kujul "The Cheese People"

Ilmselt tõusev täht Venemaa indie-pop žanris. Circa kaks aastat tagasi palusin ühel Piiteri tuttaval märku anda, kui ta millestki huvitavast & originaalsest kuuleb. Seni on tulnud aeg ajalt teateid "Nothing to Report! I keep on listening!" Well, eile see juhtus ning ta informeeris mind, et oli paar nädalat tagasi käinud kuulamas ühte jumalast lahedat ning originaalset artisti. Täpset venekeelset vastet ei oska siin kohal anda, igaljuhul tegu oli ülevoolava rõõmupuhanguga...

Bändi enda kohta, MySpace annab nende kohta teada järgmist:

"Cheese People are the heroes of the loudest hype in Russia nowadays – suddenly this quartet of bashful unremarkable students from the banks of Volga river became the most fashionable disco-punk band in the country. Cheese People already had participated in a few important international festivals and shared the stage with Datarock, Solex and Junior Boys, and played a lot of crazy club shows. 12th September 2008 their debut eponymous CD will be released by Moscow-based indie-label Snegiri Music. It's hard to believe that all of this 11 frisky tracks were recorded in the bedroom of Anton Zalygin – and it's seems incredible, that he had not been inspired by modern british glam nu-ravers. This no-budget self-produced record sounds more poverfull and groovy than all russian major hits – due to the felicitous combination of catchy melodies, senseless lyrics, a thorough work with samples and unusual meow-style vocal by Olya Chubarova, this band can become a first international indiependent hitbraker from Russia since TaTu. They are really too good to be true, and too ambitious to fail. Fortunately, they are not wasting the time and already seek for international partnership"

Hiljuti ilmus ka nende esimene täispikk album, sõbranna andis teada, et sbzoluutsel tfantast. Paraku ei ole mul endal õnnestunud seda hankida ning pean leppima Youtube´st guugeldatuga...
mis on äärmiselt halva kvaliteetiga...
